This article is long, but it's not as negative as the headline implies. You can find lots of articles on the net that gush about Vista's improvements and benefits, but this one does a very thorough job of balancing what's "new and good about the operating system" against what's "new and bad." At least in Beta 2. Likely, Microsoft will have addressed at least some of these concerns to some degree before shipping the final version of Vista sometime in 2010.
