New "Microsoft Thug" protects you from itself. Or should that be "MS Widows and Orphans Fund"? Either way it looks like a conflict of interest to me. Why should you have to pay extra to make a product less vulnerable to malfunction? Elliot Spitzer might have some thoughts on that....
